Space Week
Last week we were learning about Space. We have enjoyed having the chance to be creative and add some small space themed gestures in lots of our books. I think that they look great! ????????????????️????☄️
Addition +
In maths today our Year 1 children have been using the part whole model to work out additions within 10.
Homophones
In phonics today Year 2 have been learning about homophones. They also celebrated space week by presenting their work in a space themed way.
Questions for a Christian or a Cosmologist
In RE we having been thinking about different types of questions that we would like to ask a scientist and a Christian. The children came up with some very thought provoking questions. They also enjoyed presenting their work in an exciting way.

Finding 1,2,3!
Reception have been finding 1,2,3 things in nature. We subitised and counted. We solved problems along the way. We talked about part whole! 1,1,1 makes 3! 2 and 1 makes 3!
Number Bonds to 10
Class 2 got creative today in maths making love hearts to help them remember their bonds to 10.

In a nod to national space week Class 4 have been on a French fact finding mission.
Pumpkin fun!
Today we have been exploring pumpkins using our senses! We enjoyed hammering, scooping and pinching the pumpkins. We used words like slippy, sloppy, slime, pulp, hard and bumpy to talk about the pumpkins.
TT Rockstars Day
Class 2 had a fantastic day looking at our 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
