Class 2 got creative today in maths making love hearts to help them remember their bonds to 10.

In a nod to national space week Class 4 have been on a French fact finding mission. 

Today we have been exploring pumpkins using our senses! We enjoyed hammering, scooping and pinching the pumpkins. We used words like slippy, sloppy, slime, pulp, hard and bumpy to talk about the pumpkins. 

Class 2 had a fantastic day looking at our 2, 5 and 10 times tables.

We are rocking’ out today. What a great effort Class 4. 

In art today we used our designs to make our own Wedgwood inspired piece of pottery. 

We have been grinding and crushing herbs using a pestle and mortar. The herbs smelt fragrant, lemony and minty. 

We have been learning how to clean our hands this afternoon! We sang a handwashing song, counted to 20, talked about the importance of handwashing and how it can keep our bodies healthy. We learned vocabulary like; germ, pathogen, lipid, lather, foam, clean. We did an excellent job with…

Class one created a harvest themed tray using lots of materials and resources. They recreated the jobs that farmers do at harvest time. They also talk about fruit and vegetables, growing, planting and farm machinery! There was so much creativity and imagination happening during play! Well done…
