Class 3 loved their visit to Birmingham museum to explore more about the Ancient Egyptians.

Class 3 went on a scavenger hunt to decode words written in hieroglyphics.
Class 3 Egyptian Art
In Class 3 we focused on small details and patterns found in Egyptian art to create a double page spread in their sketch books. We used coffee to stain our backgrounds to represent papyrus paper.
Class 3 History
We transformed our classroom into a prehistoric cave by working underneath the tables, helping us to imagine what it might have felt like to create cave paintings thousands of years ago.
Class 3 Maths
Year 3 have loved being outside using chalk to create Roman numeral clocks.
Documenting the journey of our butterflies
Class 3 have enjoyed documenting the process of their caterpillars turning into butterflies and finally releasing them.
Music- Djembe
Class 3 have loved experimenting with our new instruments for this term. This week we have focused on calls and responses as well as recognising different musical notes.
