A great game of football in freezing conditions. Missing two key players our Year 4s helped out and allowed us to continue our winning streak. Some excellent performances all round, superb defensive displays and some excellent goals. Well done again boys!

This week we have had raspberry and coconut sponge with our school-grown raspberries.

Planting season is here.
We have had a very productive first week back at St Mary’s. We have been busy planting our wildflowers, beans, peas, lettuce, broccoli and turnips. Class One have also created some beautiful nature art whilst learning about dandelions.

In Forest school this week we have been talking about remembrance day and why we wear poppies.
We created our own poppies with autumnal leaves and made poppy seed balls.

We are extremely grateful to the St Mary’s PTA for buying us our caterpillars. All the children have been fascinated watching them grow from tiny caterpillars to forming their chrysalis then finally emerging into beautiful butterflies.
