Amazing Noun Phrase Sentences
In Class 4 we have been working hard to describe an elephant. The children created some fantastic noun phrase sentences. Please have a look at them we think they’re great.

Today in maths the children were learning about the <>= symbols. They worked in pairs, using the base 10 to compare numbers.
Making Wedgwood Blue
In art today we were experimenting with tints and shades. We then added white to blue to see if we could make ‘Wedgwood Blue’.
Noticing and sorting!
Today in forest school we collected natural objects and talked about what we noticed. We noticed the size, shapes, colours and types of natural object. We sorted them into groups and sets. We solved problems when an object did not match and belong.
Dear Zoo
Today our Year 2 children are independently planning the story ‘Dear Zoo’. Tomorrow they will retell the story and add in their own animals.
Forming letters with paint!

Fantastic Phonics
Our Year 2 children had great fun getting creative in phonics today. They were practising spelling works with the silent k before the n such as knee and knock.

What amazing creativity in Class 4
We have been looking at how we can improve our vocabulary choice in English today. The children were then able to use their creativity to present their ladders in any exciting way that they wanted. I think that these are great!
