Be bright, be seen! Today we have talked about the clothing we can wear to be bright and be seen! We designed our own bright jackets to wear in the dark.
Numbers to 50
Today in maths we have been using the hundreds squeaks times help us order and sequence numbers from 20 to 50.
Class one remember.
Class one remember the people who served in the past and who still serve today. We talked about the poppy and watched the CBeebies poppies animation together. We read remembrance stories and created a tribute together as a team.
Can we make fireworks using milk and washing up liquid?
Wow! We were amazed when we created a fireworks display using milk, food colouring and washing up liquid!
Can skittles make a rainbow?
It is science week this week and we used our observation skills to see if skittles can make a rainbow when mixed with water. We watched the food colouring run, drip and float. The skittles were colourful and sticky. We really enjoyed investigating, exploring, predicting and experimenting!
Walsall Art Gallery
Class 3 had a fantastic day today at Walsall Art Gallery. We made pottery, sculpted models out of plasticine and looked and talked about a variety of different pieces of art.
The Gunpowder Plot
Today in English/history we have learning about Guy Fakes and the Gunpowder Plot. We writes wanted posters for Guy Fawkes and then we did some Bonfire Night art.
Amazing 2-point perspective drawing
This week we have had the chance to show the skills that we have mastered in our 2-point perspective art unit. The children were very creative and I am so impressed with the work that they produced.

Mark making!
We love mark making in different materials and using different tools. This gives us the skills we need to become amazing handwriters!
Firefighter role play!
We have loved pretending to be firefighters today! We have used our imaginations to put out blazes and stop fires!
