A taste of Italy
This week we have continued our persuasive writing about Sicily.
To help us find some descriptive words for the food, we sampled some classic Italian food.

Butterfly excitement in English
Lots of excitement in English today, two of our butterflies emerged from their chrysalises during the lesson.
We are excited to see the other three emerge.
Plastic in the oceans Junk modelling
We have created sculptures from recycling, inspired by the works of Richard and Judith Lang.
Rock grouping
We have been examining different rocks and deciding in teams how to group them.
There was lots of fantastic teamwork and discussion in all groups. Everyone was able to justify their groupings to the rest of the class.
PSHE - Helping Others to Get Help
This week we have continued to look at "Helping Others to get Help". We have focussed on helping soneone who does not want help straight away, or who we might be worried about.

Chocolate Science and Gardening
We have had a fun first week back.
We explored the inside of different chocolate bars to see properties of rocks they reminded us of, and use role play to help us learn about the properties of rocks.
