RE: Creation
Today we started our new RE unit, What do Christians learn from the Creation Story?. As a class, we explored the outdoor areas of our school. We took pictures of all of the wonderful things God has created and discussed why they are so special.
Flower Power

Shared reading with Class 1
We had a lovely time this afternoon sharing books with Class 1.
Butterflies
Today we released our butterflies in the school vegetable garden.
They were reluctant to leave us and one even stopped for a rest before it flew off to the bushes.
A taste of Italy
This week we have continued our persuasive writing about Sicily.
To help us find some descriptive words for the food, we sampled some classic Italian food.

Butterfly excitement in English
Lots of excitement in English today, two of our butterflies emerged from their chrysalises during the lesson.
We are excited to see the other three emerge.
Plastic in the oceans Junk modelling
We have created sculptures from recycling, inspired by the works of Richard and Judith Lang.
Rock grouping
We have been examining different rocks and deciding in teams how to group them.
There was lots of fantastic teamwork and discussion in all groups. Everyone was able to justify their groupings to the rest of the class.
PSHE - Helping Others to Get Help
This week we have continued to look at "Helping Others to get Help". We have focussed on helping soneone who does not want help straight away, or who we might be worried about.
