Making peppermint tea!
Nursery have enjoyed practicing their cutting skills today to cut peppermint from the garden and then they squashed, stirred and splashed to pour our peppermint tea! There was lots of creativity happening!
Bonkers monsters!
It’s a very exciting day in Class 2! Our monster bonkers books have arrived for this who bought books. Well done class 2 you’re now published authors.
Play practice
We have worked so hard on our leavers play this week. It is really coming together and we cannot wait to perform it.
Beans and Buildings!!
In Science we planted our beans in the garden and we watered them because it was so hot. In History, we learned about Skara Brae and found out Early Humans lived in round houses.
Guatemalan kites
Today we have started our kites topic in DT. We have made Guatemalan kites this afternoon and tried flying them outside.
Lots of super teamwork in monster phonics!
Today we played a reading game with a partner in monster phonics! There was lots of super reading, teamwork, sharing, communication and friendship shown! Well done reception!
Creating butterflies in the sunshine!
Today some of nursery created symmetrical butterflies using dabblers, sequins and lots of creative materials. We created colourful butterflies and we attached some string to hang them in the garden!
Siam’s inspection
We had an inspection on Thursday. The whole school were amazing and we all behaved brilliantly, showing our guest what a wonderful school we have. We talked brilliantly to her, showed her our work and took her to church.
We flew like eagles all day.
Super teamwork and leadership!
Some of the reception children worked with the nursery children to help them develop their oral blending skills! There was super teamwork, friendship and leadership skills being shown!
BEANS!!!!!
We've planted some beans and they are going well. Mrs Conlon's emergency bean is going extremely well too! The shoot is more of a stem now.
In English we have been writing instructions on how to wash a prehistoric animal.

The parable of the lost sheep!
Class one listened to the parable of the Lost Sheep. We discussed it together and talked about how God loves everyone and everything in his World. Olivia said, “Everyone is important.” “God loves everyone!” We created our own lost sheep small world play area as a team!
