Today we started learning about winter and we explored ice! Nursery went on an ice hunt outside and they found a huge circular piece of ice in the mud kitchen! The children then used it as an ice skating rink for the mobilo characters inside! 

We've loved making our Advent Calendar in Class 3 this month. 

Each day 2 children folded paper to create our wonderful manger full of animals, then filled it with the shepherds, the three kings, the angel Gabriel, Mary, Joseph, and finally, the baby Jesus.

This week we have been getting ourselves ready for the Christmas break by practicing our sewing skills! 

Every child has designed their own product by doing some market research, thinking about who the product is for, and how strong, comfy and visually appealing it should be.

We've had lots of fun today! We made finished sewing our snowman puppets and made polar bear Christmas decorations. 

We have enjoyed a super Christmas week in class one! We took part in our Christmas service, had a special visit from Santa, watched a pantomime and enjoyed lots of Christmas treats!

Today we've been sewing snowman puppets. We showed good resilience when we were threading the needle and trying to get the stitches in the right holes. Tomorrow we'll use creativity to decorate them.
