Tally Charts
In maths today we created our own ‘Tally Charts’. We collected data on our favourite foods, pets and colours.
A super animal visit from Rodbaston!
Today we met ferrets, a snake, a skink, giant snails and stick insects! We learnt more about them and we got to hold them if we wanted to.





World culture day!

We have spoken a little about different cultures and respecting each other.
We have said hello in lots of different languages, Norah taught us how to count in Spanish and showed us her Spanish learning, we have sang and we are getting ready for a few world culture day…
Phonics outside!
Today Class one had phonics outside. We loved it! We practiced our sounds, read words with no colour and impressed Mrs Coleman-Harris by finding the kidder digraphs and trigraphs, we we write words with sounds in that we know!
Building numbers beyond 10!
We enjoyed taking our maths learning outside today in the sunshine!
We have been starting to learn more about numbers past 10 this week. We used maths equipment to build 10,11,12,13. We talked about the part/whole. Some of us even went beyond 13! One child even found they had made 70 with 7…
Creating a giant snake!
Nursery built a giant snake! Then they used tweezers to pinch pom-poms and decorate the snake! Super fine motor development!
Painting jungles in the sunshine.
Reception have been painting jungles using watercolours in their art book. We painted vines, trees, swamps, bogs and long wavy grass.
Geography - Rivers
Class three have been learning about the journey of a river from source to sea. They had lots of fun creating their own models of the journey to show their understanding. Well done Class 3!
Fly like an eagle!
We have been learning about eagles and creating our own eagle art work using different materials.
A visit from Ralph!
Class 1 loved their visit from Ralph and Mrs Gethin today. We learnt all about caring for a dog!
