Easter crosses!
The children have been very creative and used diplomatic to build crosses during learning through play time.
Colton Daffodils!
We created daffodils like the ones we see all over Colton. We used play dough, tools and loose parts to create the daffodils.
Beautiful artwork using chalk!
Nursery have been using chalk to create colourful, fluttering butterflies. Super mark making and drawing!
Fruit kebabs!
We chopped up to 10 pieces of fruit and placed them on a tens frame! Then we created a fruit kebab! We ate them before the Hungry Caterpillar could!
The life cycle of a butterfly.
Reception and nursery have been learning about the life cycle of the butterfly. Reception read and matched sentences and words to the part of the life cycle. They then wrote about the lifecycle in their books.

Spring has sprung!
We have spotted some more signs of Spring today in our outdoor areas. We are looking forward to seeing more daffodils blooming soon!
Phonics stay and play!
Class 1 and Class 2 would like to invite you to a Phonics Stay and Play on Wednesday 26th March 2- 3pm in the school hall.
Everyone is welcome to come along!

Taste a pancake!
We got to help Mr Wolf eat the pancakes! We chose and prepared our own topping! They were delicious, yummy, soft, sweet, sticky, gooey and chocolatey!
Mix a pancake…
We worked together to read Mr Wolf’s pancake recipe to make the pancake batter.
We used some amazing sentences and vocabulary to describe the batter. It is gooey! Sloppy! Runny!
Special delivery for Mr Wolf!
We have enjoyed shaping and moulding play dough to create pancakes for Mr Wolf. We wrote postal addressed and labels to them postal pancakes to him!
