Welcome back Class 3!

I hope you all had a wonderful week in the sunshine! I certainly did! We've built a deck in our back garden and we bought a BBQ so have really enjoyed being in the sun. I bet you've all had a few BBQs!

We're back to home learning but I will only be posting work on a Monday and Wednesday from now on. Remember 2 hours of work a day is enough!

English

The weather is so beautiful so I would like you get outside, find somewhere comfy to sit and write something about where you are. You could write a poem all about your senses or a setting description all about where you are and what you can see, hear, smell, taste and touch.

I'd love to see what you write so feel free to send them to me!

Reading

Please listen to Daniel Radcliffe read chapter 1 of Harry Potter. There are some activities you can complete also.

You will need to register to get onto the website (get an adult to help you with this!)

Topic

History - Ages of Man

This half term we would be learning all about the Ages of Man.

For today's lesson I would like you to use the internet to research the ages of man and create a timeline of prehistoric history. There is some information on BBC Bitesize and google will give you lots of information.

Some key words you could google are:

stone age, bronze age, iron age, prehistoric Britain, ages of man

Something extra?

We've done this lots of times before but have another go at some water art! Watch how fast the water disappears in the sun!

You could also have a go at some shadow art - find some objects, put them in the sun and draw their shadows.

I hope you're all staying safe and healthy!
