Fantastic Phonics
Our Year 1 children have been doing some fantastic work in Monster Phonics this week. They have learnt some new sounds and practised reading and writing them. They have also played some games and worked as a team.

Whole MAT Worship

A Hammock and a Hedgehog ramp
We have had lot's of fun in the last few weeks of outdoor learning at St Mary's. We have enjoyed using our new hammock which has been fantastic for developing our gross motor skills, communication skills, social skills, mindfulness and of course lots of fun too!

Cooling down with a foot spa!
We have been keeping cool by having relaxing foot spas, milkshakes, water sprays, colouring and eating strawberries!
COLOURFUL COLOURS!!!!!
In Science we put dye in water along with a flower.Some changed colour while others didn't.
We were writing stories about a meteor in English.We are writing in the first person.
