Greater than, Less than, Equal to
Today in maths the children have been exploring greater than, less than and equal to. We used the straws and cubes to represent this the symbols and quantities within 10.
I can sort!
Reception have been learning about sorting! We have been sorting into one criteria and more! There has been lots of super discussion, problem solving, matching and talking about similarities and differences.

RE
In RE this week we have been learning about what God means to Christians. The children were given the opportunity to present their knowledge creatively. These are some of the amazing ideas that Class 4 came up with.
Circuits
This week we have been learning about electricity. The children learnt how to creat circuits to light up a bulb and to sound a buzzer.
The Number Line
Today our Year 1 children have using their prior knowledge of the number line to work out one more and one less than a given number.
Fine motor skills!
Nursery have been working on developing their fine motor skills! We have been pinching the pegs and placing them into the peg boards. We talked about the colours and patterns we created.
Pep the Poet
We all really enjoyed our visit from Pep the Poet. He inspired us to perform some of his poems and create our own pet rocks called Yvonne!
Poetry Friday!
The children had an amazing time this morning with a visit from Pep the Poet! He got us all up and moving, and had us all in giggles. Thank you Pep!
Harvest time...
This week we have had raspberry and coconut sponge with our school-grown raspberries.

Our World -North America
In geography we have been travelling around with Buddy the Bee. Today we travelled to North America and learnt about it’s most famous landmarks including the Statue of Liberty. We got creative in class and made some ‘Liberty Crowns’ and some American flags.

We have been using a variety of materials for example; cotton reels, logs, pine cones and lids to create faces!
