What is growing in the garden?
We visited the Horti Hub and had a look to see what was growing! We found tomatoes, leeks, carrots, sweet corn and lots more foods! We picked shiny tomatoes and long leeks as a team. We washed them and got them ready for some cooking with Chef Alex!

Today we made biscuits with jam and chutneys and prepared beetroot tasters for the Grand Horti hub opening. Good team work Class 2!

Today Year 1 read a book called Draw with Penny. We read the instructions for drawing a car, a bird and a face. Then we had a go at following the instructions. Amazing perseverance Year 1!

Our school
We started our Geography topic called Our School today. We talked about Ariel photographs and tried to draw/make maps of the classroom using building materials and by drawing around Lego. Great creativity and problem solving Class 2!
Our visit to the tuck shop!
We used amazing communication skills to order at the tuck shop today! We were responsible as we looked after our money and also very respectful, using super manners as we ordered our snack.
We enjoyed making and eating homemade ice lollies!
We used strawberries and juices to created ice lollies to enjoy in this beautiful weather! We looked at the changes over time and described them “sticky!” “It is melting.” “Delicious!”

This morning we designed seed packets ready to display at the Horst I hub opening on Friday. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
Responsibility
Our new Class 4 have already shown lots of responsibility this term. They have been exceptional role models and have taken on the responsibility of helping lead our school - well done Class 4.
Football
Today we had our first football lesson in PE. We had a lot of fun practising dribbling and stopping the ball, and we stopped for lots of breaks in this hot sunshine!
