We had a lot of fun learning to write musical notation with Mrs Parkes in music yesterday.

Georgia is having lots of fun this half term, teaching class 1 some Julia Donaldson inspired drama and helping the rest of the school with their Creation work in RE. 

We have really tried hard to use our learning tools this week in class 4. 

Our Harvest festival was a huge success today. Well done to all children and in particular our wonderful Worship team who guided us through the service.

Reception have been flying like eagles this half term in their monster phonics sessions. They are learning the alphabet sounds, developing their sounding out and blending skills to help them read simple words, and they are learning how to read tricky and high frequency words!

Class 2 really enjoyed the harvest service today. We talked about how we grow, harvest and cook fruit and vegetables in our poly tunnel and raised beds. We also showed amazing listening and respect in church!

Today we worked with Mrs Smith to talk about what values we need to be a good person. We discussed our Christian values and what we do to show these values. 

Can you spot Class 2 walking back after their outdoor french lesson? They collected leaves to make leaf people. Next week they’re going to use french vocabulary for colours and body parts to write about their leaf people.
