Reception have been exploring the question 'Why do Christians put a cross in an Easter Garden?'

Today we discussed the big question 'Why do Christians put a cross in an Easter Garden?' We discussed the Easter story, what each part of the Easter Garden symbolises, the important messages from the Easter story and what the cross symbolises and we used our creativity to build our own Easter Gardens! There was some brilliant discussions the children created their gardens. "It was part of God' s plan.'' "God sent Jesus to Earth to make the people happy and then he went to Heaven to be with God."
