Incarnation and learning about the first Christmas!

We have started learning about the first Christmas and answering the big question 'Why do Christians perform in a Christmas Nativity?' We listened to the story of the first Christmas, discussed our nativity performance in relation to the story, made predictions and discussed it together. The children commented on how Jesus was sent to Earth to teach us about 'love, respect and friendship.'
