Hi all,

How are you all this week? We hope that you are all well and have managed to enjoy some time outside (even though the weather hasn't been too great!). We have completed our first week back and school, the Year 6's have been amazing (sensible and very relaxed about being back). School, however is not the same without you all, we are missing you terribly. Thank you to all of the children that have been emailing me their work, showing me how they have been getting on. I have been really impressed with what I have seen. It would be really good to hear from all of you if you can either send an email, photo or piece of work in. Those using Google Classroom it is great to see you are working so hard and hear from you regularly i would really encourage everyone to get on and give it a go. There will be a Class 4 Google meet at 10am on Tuesday it would be great to see you all there. Please use the Google Meet icon in your My Drive and enter the code that you will find in the Stream on your classwork.

At school we have had some time to do a little art and we have created our own optical illusions. What do you think of our 3D hands? This one is Lottie's we think it's great! Do you agree?  I have shared the link below if anyone fancies having a go at doing one at some point this week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhUbtH01mAY.

How are you doing with TT Rockstars at home?

Hope you have a great week.

Miss Davis and Mr Wynn

Please remember that 2 hours of work a day is plenty!

English:

We have been enjoying retelling the story of The Little Shoemaker at school and the quality of the writing that has been produced is amazing!

This week we are going to continue our work on this. Today I would like you to concentrate on the resolution the problem. This is where the Shoemaker creates a pair of shoes that take off his rival seller. Then I would like you to plan the next chapter of this tale. Is this the end of the story? What happens next to the Little Shoemaker? Does his rival find away of getting revenge on Mr Botte? I would like you to plan the next part of the story today and we will be writing it later in the week.

Please complete the planning form to help you map out your ideas? the link to the document is below:

So over the next couple of days you have 2 tasks to complete.

-Write up the resolution to the problem

-Plan a new 'next' chapter to the story. What happens between the 2 shoe sellers?
