Hi Class 4, 

I hope that you are all well and enjoying this lovely weather, Flynn and I have been playing outside a lot. Today we have been building sand castles (Well Flynn has been demolishing them! ha ha). We are all a little excited as it is Flynn's birthday today and he very excited about blowing out the candles on his cake. 

I hope that you are all getting on well with the work that we are setting for you. I have been really impressed with the 'Coffee Beans' artwork that I have been sent. I have awarded dojos to Amelia, Ava, Tansy and Ryan  for your efforts- I am sure you will all agree they are amazing!  I will set you a new challenge on Monday. If you haven't already then please send them into me would love to see any more that get finished over the weekend.  Thank you to Ryan SB and William that have sent in your answers to the guided reading questions.

In your writing I would like to see that you have used modal verbs and thought carefully about where they can be put in your writing to have an impact on the reader. I have challenged you with a little checklist for you to use:

Weekly topic 

 

Our Geography this term is to do with Trade. To start we would be looking at how trade has changed throughout history. Please read the Powerpoint on Google Classrooms and fill in the table attached. Choose from Stone Age, 17th Century or 21st Century and add lots of nice images to your work.
