As part of our charity work we have sponsored an animal in each class through the WWF website. We want to help our World and shape it to be as God intended. 

This week in maths we have been learning about sorting! We have been sorting buttons, natural items, pom-poms, fruit-anything wecould find! We sorted by colour, buttons with two or four holes,shape, size and type. We explained why items did and did not belong in the groups using vocabulary like…

Today we have been making Aboriginal art using the end of a paintbroush. We have learned about dotting techniques and talked about the animals that would be in the painting.

Today Reception have been working on their writing skill! Everyone has flown like an eagle in their writing today!

Today we made African animal art by painting animal prints onto the background of our paper and then adding the silhouette of the animal on top.

This week Year 1 have been learning the Angry Red A sound spelt using 'ai'

Today we enjoyed PE in the sunshine! We played some warm up games, worked as a team to move in different ways and collect the farmers crops (beanbags!), practiced our throwing and catching skills and talked about the importance of PE. There were lots of smiles all the way through, amazing teamwork…
