In science this week, we've been desperate to make a giant sundial on the playground. Unfortunately this was called off due to poor weather conditions (which has been an excellent teaching point for the disadvantages of sundials). So, we've made our own personal sundials instead, to take home and try in our gardens when we get some Autumn sunshine.
We were very pleased when, right at the last second, sunshine appeared and landed on Lilibet's desk. Using this, Lilibet was able to show those around her the time using a shadow and her own sundial!
