Statistics and Fractions
We have been enjoying learning about statistics (Y5) and fractions (Y6) in Maths this week. Our new White Rose Maths workbooks are brilliant and the children are enjoying completing the activities in them.

Slime!
Today in Science, we looked at non-Newtonian fluids and their properties. To demonstrate this, we made our own slime (using cornflour and water), and had lots of fun!
Fitness Testing in Class 4!
In today's P.E. lesson, we carried out the infamous 'bleep test' to assess fitness. The overall 'winner' was Eddie, with an impressive level of 5.8! Well done!

In Art, we have been looking at architects and their work. Today, we drew pictures of the famous Tower Bridge in London - there were some super pieces of work produced. We had a mini-competition and this was the winning entry by Mason - well done!

We have had a great week and are very excited by our new class mate a very cute and cuddly tiger. Thank you PTA for helping us sponsor this animal for the next 12 months. We are looking forward to learning more about it and helping it survive.
