1,2,3!

Reception have started to learn more about 1,2 and 3. We have made the amounts on 5 frames, drawn pictures, showed amounts on fingers, looked at the matching numbers, looked at dice patterns and subitised. We played make a team of 1,2 and 3! The children also explored 1,2 and 3 during learning through play using the maths resources!

What do you see? What do you notice? Can you see a 1? A 2? Or a 3? Can you subitise what you see? Subitising is talking about what you see without counting.
Can you see where a 1 and a 1 make 2? Can you see 3 conkers in a row?
