Today we have been learning how to subitise with three objects. This means, rather than counting, we talk about what we can see and how we see it.
We saw three leaves. "1,1,1" and that is also 3. We saw two feathers and two flowers and that is also four. We saw two yellow leaves and three brown leaves. That is also five!
We also sorted autumn objects, put them in groups of two and talked about what we saw and compared too!
